Experiential Design + Architectural Design + Technical Design + Creative Direction

A unique Multi-room experiential adaptation of the original Lite-Brite: Worlds of Wonder immersive experience. Meant to trigger one’s nostalgia for being a kid and inspire ideas of creativity and play. This version featured 11 rooms, each with its own blend between full digital immersion and physical installations, where you could learn a history lesson, walk down an infinite archway, play a game or experience the three wonderous worlds of the original show, with everything in between.

Illuminarium Toronto is a fully immersive entertainment facility located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, using cutting edge visual, audio and projection technology. It allows for reprogrammable environments to surround patrons, hosting shows and experiences from pre-made video to real-time interactive content and everything in between.

Make Believe

Experiential Design + Creative Direction + Architectural Design

Make Believe is a visionary look at the future of location-based entertainment comprising of three main experiental attractions. The premiere experience – called “Waking Wonderland” is a sweeping 35 min extended-reality interactive narrative experience where users are taken on a brand new journey through Lewis Caroll’s Wonderland. The second – an interactive exhibition detailing the history and evolution of Hasbro toys and games. The third experience being two free-roam VR stages, allowing for 8 players on each stage to be transported to new environments and have new experiences.

Waking Wonderland

Art Direction + Experiential Design + Environmental Design

Waking Wonderland is a projected augmented reality narrative that invites audiences on a dreamlike journey into Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland. Based on the novel Through the Looking Glass, viewers join Alice’s granddaughter Anna as she ventures beyond the looking glass and encounters a range of surreal settings and colourful characters.

Vessel: Transport

Creative Direction + Industrial Design + Motion Design

Vessel Transport is a larger scale turn-key VR quad Motion-chair based unit, intended to bring unique seated “amusement park” ride experiences in a smaller and easier to use footprint. It was demoed at the International Association of Amusement Parks Expo in Florida, with 5 distinctive VR experiences including Ubisoft’s Eagle Flight – where patrons were able to play 2v2 live multiplayer.

Vessel Arcade is a turn-key dual sided standing VR ‘kiosk’, intended to enable the delivery of easy-to-use VR content for both arcade owners and arcade patrons alike. It is one of three hardware products powered by VUSR, the proprietary VR content distribution platform developed by Secret Location.

The Great C

Environment Design + Motion Design

The Great C is a sweeping 30+ minute experience, developed from the ground up to push the boundaries of storytelling in VR. Based on the sci-fi short story by Philip K. Dick, The Great C is a cinematic narrative set in the aftermath of an apocalyptic event. Featuring a thrilling storyline, stunning environments and a powerful soundtrack, the viewer is transported to a desolate landscape in which the remnants of humanity are ruled by an all-powerful supercomputer known as the Great C.

Environment Design + Motion Design

The Professor Presents: #GotHandles, is an interactive VR basketball virtual reality game. “The Professor” performs a few tricks and then challenges the player to do the same, matching every move The Professor makes, in time and on form. Each chain of moves gets more difficult as the game progresses and speeds up. The experience is an integration of both 360 Video and real-time VR.
